สวัสดีครับพ่อแม่พี่น้องขาเที่ยวทุกๆท่าน วันนี้ผมจะพาไปเที่ยวกันที่ดอยสกาด ดอยที่มีชื่อเสียงในเรื่องของการปลูกเมี่ยง ถิ่นปลูกมะแขว่นของดีเมืองน่าน ดอยแห่งนี้เป็นที่อยู่อาศัยของชาวไทยภูเขาชนเผ่าลั๊วะที่มีวิถีชีวิตเรียบง่าย และที่สำคัญยังคงมีความบริสุทธิ์ของธรรมชาติ บรรยากาศเงียบสงบ เหมาะสำหรับมาพักผ่อนชาร์ตแบตรีเฟรซร่างกายให้หายจากความเหนื่อยล้า
ดอยสกาด ตั้งอยู่ในอำเภอปัว จังหวัดน่าน บนเทือกเขาดอยภูคา ห่างจากตัวเมืองปัวประมาณ 22 กม. ใช้เวลาเดินทางครึ่งชั่วโมง ผ่านเส้นทางของถนนที่โค้งไปมามีชันบ้างในช่วงสุดท้าย ถนนขึ้นดอยเป็นถนนลาดยางตลอดทั้งเส้น รถทุกชนิดสามารถสัญจรได้ ถ้าขับขึ้นดอยเข้าโค้งได้ก็ไม่ยากเกินไปที่จะมาถึงดอยแห่งนี้ เมื่อเข้าสู่ดอยสกาดจะเห็นบ้านเรือนของชาวบ้านปลูกแทรกตามไหล่เขา บางหลังมีต้นชาหรือเมี่ยงปลูกอยู่ในบริเวณบ้านด้วย พันธุ์ที่นิยมปลูกบนดอยสกาด คือ ชาอัสสัมซึ่งมีปลูกทั้งแบบเพาะเมล็ดพันธุ์เอง และขึ้นเองตามธรรมชาติ จึงทําใหการปลูกชาไม่เป็นแถวแต่ลักษณะการปลูกเป็นการปลูกใต้ร่มเงาของไม้ใหญ่หรือไม้ร่มเงา
ซึ่งที่นี่จะมีการเอาใบชาอัสสัม มาทำเป็น ใบเมี่ยง ไว้รับประทาน และยังนำไปทำเป็นของใช้มากมายอีกด้วย เช่น หมอนใบเมี่ยง โดยกลิ่นหอมของใบเมี่ยงนั้น จะช่วยให้คลายเครียด และดูดซับกลิ่นต่างๆ ได้ดีเลย จนทำให้ที่ ดอยสกาด แห่งนี้ มีชื่อเสียงในเรื่องของ ใบเมี่ยง และ มะแขว่น ขึ้นมา
การเดินทาง มายัง ดอยสกาด
ถ้าใครจะขัยรถตรงมาจากกรุงเทพฯ ให้ใช้ถนนสายเอเชียตรงเข้ามาภาคเหนือเลยค่ะ พอถึงนครสวรรค์ แล้วก็ให้เลี้ยวขวาเข้าถนนทางหลวงหมายเลข 117 ผ่านจังหวัด พิษณุโลก อุตรดิตถ์ แล้วเข้าถนนทางหลวง 101 ของแพร่ จากนั้นผ่านน่าน ขึ้นไปจนถึงอำเภอปัว แล้วไต่เขาไปอีก 22 กิโลเมตร ก็จะถึงบริเวณของหมู่บ้านสกาดแล้ว
